Come Dine With Me (Part 2 of 4)

The only thing that I’ve ever made right in any kitchen… is a mess. Up until a week ago, I didn’t think that I could cook anything else except French Toast (aka Eggy Bread). But once I knew that I had people to impress, I put my game face on and braved the god-awful Sainsburys to shop for my evening of oh-so-fine dining 🙂

Round 2 of our COME DINE WITH ME saga and I was under the spotlight as, like Morkalfish, I had never cooked for 2 members of the party, nor have I cooked a “proper” meal for my Tom (how sad is that?).

Nevertheless, my guests were excited about my menu:

Impressive right??!! For me at least.

Surprisingly, I remained cool and calm throughout the day. I’m sure that every item in my kitchen was used, without a doubt. Everything went to plan (more or less) and the evening was most enjoyable. I sweetened the deal with my home made shortbread stars  and once again,  I’m looking forward to the next feast!

How to hug a baby correctly…

Aaaah man…

My sister sent this to me via email and it would be a shame not to share it. Goodness me this is sooo sweet!

Instructions on how to properly cuddle a baby :

1.  First, ummmm- find a baby. Yes, that’s it- find a baby.

2. Then make sure that the object you found was indeed a baby by using  the old classic sniffing techniques.

3. Next, you will need to flatten the baby before actually beginning the hugging process. This is necessary.

4. The ‘paw slide’.  Simply slide both paws around the baby and prepare for a possible close-up.

5. Finally, you will need to execute the difficult and patented ‘hug, smile, and lean’ so as to achieve the best photo quality.

And that’s it- Clear instructions on how to properly cuddle a baby in just 5 easy steps- From a dog’s point of view 🙂
